Crail Airfield was originally established as an RAF base in 1918, and many of the impressive buildings from that time are still present on the site today. If you're planning a visit, keep in mind that the toilet block is a bit of a walk from the pitlane.

There is a burger van on-site where you can grab some food, but note that there is no seating available. However, there are some covered areas in the pitlane where you can take a break from the sun or rain.

During the Junior Driving Sessions the instructors will do their best to clear the adult drivers before the juniors enter the track, but sometimes there is a slight transition. In any case the kids are safe because the instructor of the adult cars will slow anyone down approaching a junior driver on the circuit. It would benefit the children to have had some previous experiences of driving such as karting of one of our Young Driver Training sessions, but its not essential. The instructor will allow the kid to drive at a speed where they feel the child's ability is at.

At Crail Raceway there are a few driving experiences to choose from including the Junior Supercar Drive. There are three packages available, meaning that the junior driver can get behind the wheel of up to three supercars for up to 3 miles in each. Choose between the Ford Mustang Police Car, Audi R8 V10, Ferrari California and so many more. These cars are powerful and thrilling, providing an unforgettable experience for any junior driver. The instructor will provide guidance and advice to ensure that the driver has a safe and fun experience.
